Advancing validation of non-formal and informal learning

The peer‑learning event “Advancing Validation of Non‑Formal and Informal Learning” will take place on 27–29 January 2026 in Dublin, bringing together policy‑makers and validation practitioners from ETF partner countries. Hosted in collaboration with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), the event offers an in‑depth look at Ireland’s approaches to Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and provides opportunities for participants to exchange experiences, explore good practices, and strengthen their capacity to develop effective validation systems. The three‑day programme includes expert inputs, group exercises, site visits to validation providers, and collaborative sessions aimed at shaping country‑specific action plans.
