Torino Process 2018-2020 online workshop: Torino Process in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Region - key findings and way ahead
The European Training Foundation (ETF) organised an online workshop on the 'Torino Process in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) - key findings and the way ahead', on Tuesday, 13 July 2021.
The regional workshop gathered the representatives from the SEMED countries to present and discuss key findings and recommendations from the Regional Torino Process report. The meeting was also be an opportunity to take stock of the process and present ideas for the way ahead and new approaches to monitoring in the region. Reinforced monitoring systems for more robust evidence based policy making is one of the key messages included in the 4th Ministerial Declaration on Employment and Labour, alongside the need to continue fostering regional exchange, regional dialogue and peer learning around the Ministerial priorities.
The workshop had the following objectives:
- Share and reach a common understanding of key findings and recommendations emerging from the regional analysis of trends and progress in Human Capital Development, skills and VET policies responsiveness.
- Identify, together with participants, regional priorities and actions to address the main issues of Human Capital Development taking into account partnership with the EU, current good practise, and future needs in the regional dialogue between EU and its Southern Neighbours.
