Evaluation

The main purpose of evaluation is to promote accountability and learning and to improve the performance of ETF operations in our partner countries.

By conducting evaluations we aim to learn from experience, to provide objective basis for assessing the results and impact of our activities and to provide accountability in the achievement of objectives. Evaluation also improves ETF’s work by identifying and disseminating the lessons learnt from experience and by framing recommendations drawn from evaluation findings that can be used in the design, appraisal and execution of new operations.

The ETF supports also the capacity building in evaluation in the partner countries. A number of evaluations on larger scale European Commission's programmes have been conducted within ETF projects.
