Torino Process: Review of policies for lifelong learning in Georgia - national kick-off meeting

Georgia is an active participant in the new round of the Torino Process, which the European Training Foundation (ETF) has launched with a specific focus on monitoring the performance of education and training systems in a lifelong learning perspective, and on reviewing policies for lifelong learning.

This event has presented and discussed the results of the Torino Process monitoring of policy and system performance of VET in Georgia, and has launched the Torino Process review of policies for lifelong learning in Georgia, which will focus on adult education.

The meeting had the following objectives:

  1. Present the monitoring results for Georgia;
  2. Discuss and agree with national stakeholders on the scope and themes for the Torino Process policy review;
  3. Identify stakeholders (institutions) for a reference group which will oversee the review process;
  4. Present the next steps in the review process.

Please find here the Torino Process 2022-2024 system monitoring report for Georgia, as well as further general information on the Torino Process 2022-2024 - Policy analysis and progress monitoring (what it is, its focus, key documents).
