The publication follows a meeting jointly organised by Céreq and ETF in March 2004. The meeting gathered experts from France, eastern Europe and central Asia. The French experience on social partnership in initial vocational education and training is presented in the report together with interventions from education and employment experts from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Ukraine. The original report is in French while a summary is available in Russian.

The document summarises the main discussion points and conclusions related to the seminar on "HRD in companies" , held at the ETF on 17-18 January 2005. The document also includes the presentations, handouts and some references for further reading.

The publication, produced for the tenth anniversary of the ETF, includes a full review of the first years of the agency, since its establishment in Turin in 1994, and of its development into the centre of expertise in vocational education and training reform it is today.

The Yearbook presents analyses and insights based on ETF experience developed across single projects or country activities. Readers can get a quick insight in a number of critical issues related to the reform of vocational education and labour markets in transition countries.
