​​The Skill Continuum in Education Systems: Insights from new ETF Evidence​

The webinar presented the findings of two recent studies conducted by ETF in early 2026 in the framework of global education:

• Comparative analysis of the skills dimension embedded in education, employment and other key national strategies; this study covered all ETF partner countries.
• Analysis of the skills continuum in education through three case studies articulated around sustainability competence.

The presentations paved the way for an open dialogue on the challenges related to the skills continuum at global and local levels, including which skills should be prioritised to strengthen the skill continuum, how non-formal and informal learning should be considered beyond formal education, and other questions raised by participants.

The working language of the meeting was English.
