Public Institution Centre of Excellence in Economics and Finance

Public Institution Centre of Excellence in Economics and Finance (formerly the Financial College – Banking) is the oldest economic and financial educational institution in the Republic of Moldova. Its history begins on November 29, 1945. The institution offers 7 initial training programmes in the fields of education: Business and Administration, Information and Communication Technology. In the 2019-2020 school year, 6 vocational training programs were accredited. In the PI CEEF, more than 1500 students with frequency, who benefit from curricular and technical support in accordance with the educational requirements in force, are taught. Of the approximately 100 teachers who work as a holder in the PI CEEF , about 30 percent are involved in entrepreneurship education by teaching courses Applied Economy, Basics of Entrepreneurship, Exercise Firm. All 1500 students benefit from the Applied Economics and Basics of Entrepreneurship course units in the first year of study. Students studying in the field of Information and Communication Technology benefit from entrepreneurial training activities through the research clubs made available to them: the School Company or the Young Entrepreneurs Club. There are also 3 continuing vocational training programs. PI CEEF is actively involved in various national and international competitions, such as the Exercise Firms Fair, Best Business Plan, The School Companies Fair.
