Center of Excellence in Construction

The Center of Excellence in Construction, which offers initial technical education programs and vocational training programs in 10 specialized fields at ISCED levels 3, 4 and 5, for the 1,400 students. Students are fully involved in the social and educational life of the institution, in classrooms with advanced digital teaching aids - including smart TVs with internet connections and multifunctional digital cameras. The studies are complemented by an emphasis on the use of renewable energy sources and the use of environmentally friendly building materials. The institution has student dormitories equipped with hot water powered by solar energy and other advanced energy saving devices. The furniture for the classroom and the dormitory is made by the students themselves, as part of the practical training.
But providing a sustainable environment for students who live, study, eat and socialize on campus is not the only thing remarkable about the Center of Excellence.
