The Torino Process Review of Policies for Lifelong Learning: Egypt 2025 examines the expansion and internationalisation of the Applied Technology Schools (ATS) model in Egypt. Based on data and extensive consultations with stakeholders, the report highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in delivering high-quality, labour market-relevant technical education, and addresses the challenges of aligning vocational training with both national priorities and international standards. The review also provides recommendations to ensure ATS graduates are equipped with the skills and qualifications needed for success in Egypt and abroad.
