ETF new learning event

Starting from this November, the European Training Foundation (ETF) initiates its Innovation in Teaching and Learning weeks supported in the framework of the Creating New Learning (CNL) initiative. Each Innovation Week will serve as a platform for sharing success and celebrating achievements of practitioners who apply innovation in their teaching practice. We will engage learners into the discussion about their expectations and their needs in the era of NEW LEARNING. Most important, Innovation Weeks will allow educators, policy makers, experts and all others engaged in supporting lifelong learning for all citizens in the EU partner countries, EU member states and globally to develop their innovative talents – both to share and to get insights and know how from other educators globally. The 2022 ETF Innovation in Teaching and Learning week will take place on November 28 – December 02, 2022 and will include various online, face to face and “hybrid” events.

The core of the 2022 Innovation in Teaching and Learning week will be the 2022 ETF New Learning Event (28-29 November), that will gather a number of grassroots innovators, including the ten finalists of the 2022 ETF Innovative Teaching and Learning Award, together with innovation experts and supporters such as ILO, Cedefop and UNESCO, to engage in discussions on how teaching and learning innovation can be successfully mainstreamed and scaled-up. During the event, the winners of the ETF New Learning Award will be announced. As part of each ETF’s Innovation in Teaching and Learning week Creating New Learning initiative will organise the final stage of ETF Innovative teaching and learning Award 2022 competition for ten finalists which will conclude with a celebration ceremony for the three winners of the Award. The Award ceremony is a final phase of the ETF’s call for practice in the area of innovative teaching and learning aiming to collect, identify and valorise teaching practices that support new learning dynamics and can serve as inspiration for teachers, trainers and policy-makers in the EU neighbourhood and beyond.

The following two sessions of the event will be live-streamed:
