DARYA: Tracer studies and SCAFFOLD - tools to support lyceums
Lyceums have a critical educational goal: to prepare their students to successfully participate in the labour market, as well as to live as citizens and members of society. The “Graduate Tracking and SCAFFOLD” learning event will allow participants to understand how two important tools can be used to support the work of the lyceum and teaching staff to achieve these important goals.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to consider the critical transition from school to work for lyceum graduates in Kyrgyzstan, through the main findings of a recent survey of initial vocational education and training (IVE) graduates.
Participants will be able to review the preliminary results and examine the match between skills demand and supply, and discuss the policy implications of these findings at the system and school level. This event will also serve as a kick-off for the next wave, which will begin in spring 2025.
Participants will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the SCAFFOLD deck of cards and explore together how they can implement this tool in their lyceum and teaching staff.
