During this one-and-a-half-hour online event, we will present the main results of the study “New Forms of Work and Platform Work in Central Asia”. The study was conducted by an independent research institute PPMI on behalf of the European Training Foundation (ETF) – the European Union’s agency supporting countries surrounding the European Union to reform their education, training and labour market systems. The study is part of the EU-funded project “DARYA - Dialogue and Action for Resourceful Youth in Central Asia”.

The event will focus on presenting the findings on the prevalence of online freelancing and platform work models, worker profiles and working conditions, and the implications for employment and skills development policies in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. After the presentation of the findings, every participant will have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A discussion.
