DARYA: SCAFFOLD – competences for life

This one-day training event for educators is an opportunity to learn about and through a new and innovative tool called SCAFFOLD, organised by the European Training Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is a day dedicated to developing the skills, experience and confidence in how to introduce innovative teaching and learning techniques into your day-to-day teaching. Join an international team of expert educators and learn how to transform your practice!

This training day will show educators how to use SCAFFOLD - a tool, which is a deck of 102 cards, created to support educators in designing learning activities and guiding them step-by-step – from planning to assessment. SCAFFOLD has been produced jointly by the European Training Foundation and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, in the context of their work on key competences.  A key competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed by all individuals throughout life, for personal fulfilment and development, employability, social inclusion and active citizenship.
