Eight Years of Quality Assurance Peer Learning

This working paper summarizes the Peer Visit methodology used by the European Training Foundation Quality Assurance Forum in Vocational Education and Training. Peer Visits provide structured opportunities for external feedback and shared learning, helping countries improve quality assurance through collaboration. Since 2017, the paper details organizing Peer Visits—from planning to follow-up—highlighting benefits for both hosts and visitors. Key factors for success include clear objectives, openness to feedback, and strong stakeholder communication. The document shares practical lessons and recommendations to guide Forum members and policymakers in advancing VET quality assurance across Europe.
