About

How can stronger partnerships shape better skills policies? Taking place alongside the Torino Global Skills Summit, this GLAD network meeting will bring together public institutions, social partners, business organisations, civil society representatives and practitioners from EU partner countries. The event will provide a space to reflect on the GLAD Network's journey and achievements, exchange experiences and lessons learned, and explore future priorities and directions for strengthening human capital development governance.

Through interactive discussions, participants will reflect on GLAD’s work since 2022, examine how to build and sustain partnerships, and discuss emerging governance challenges, including what are the key governance questions related to artificial intelligence in education and training. Exchanges with ENGIM and a visit to Fondazione per la Scuola will link international perspectives with local education alliances and the “Education-city” concept.

Launched by the European Training Foundation (ETF) in 2022, GLAD (Governance Learning, Action and Dialogue), is both a method and a network dedicated to strengthening governance of human capital development. It promotes participatory approaches to vocational education and training, lifelong learning, skills and employment policies through mutual learning, policy dialogue and stakeholder engagement. Over the past four years, GLAD has brought together key actors in the field of skills governance from across ETF partner countries and the European Union to exchange experience, share lessons learned and strengthen governance capacity.
