“In line with the EU-Israel political agenda, the focus of the ETF in 2020 is to reinforcing links with the EU through encouraging participation of Israel to EU programmes and expert communities via EU-funded instruments. The ETF will also continue to provide policy advice on the Israeli authorities in following their work on the setting-up of the Israeli National Qualification as a follow up of the closure of the Israeli national qualification framework within the EU funded Twinning project and inclusion of Israel in the ETF Global inventory of National Qualification Frameworks. In addition, the ETF continues to co-work with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Committee, Ministry of Education and  Ministry of Economy and Industry, Labour Branch and their related institutions, research institutions and skills related public and private sector partners.

Priorities for TVET reforms and international cooperation in education and training, for example, networking with Israeli centres and platforms of vocational excellence and reinforcing qualifications and involvement of the private sector will be key issues.”
