Monitoring Osnabrück Declaration – Türkiye 2023

Following the 2023 elections, Türkiye is shaping its 2024–2028 education vision through strategic and economic planning. Despite global economic challenges, the country showed strong growth in 2022, with notable job creation and rising female employment. Vocational education has expanded significantly, with over 1.5 million students, increased industry collaboration, and a surge in innovation and dual education. Türkiye’s VET policies align closely with EU priorities and the Osnabrück Declaration, focusing on digitalisation, green transition, and internationalisation. Continued efforts aim to enhance lifelong learning, curriculum updates, and skilled workforce development through strategic partnerships.
