Expression of interest in participating in the donation of laptops and office furniture

Why this ETF call for expression of interest?

During the ETF annual inventory management, used goods have been identified that the ETF intends to donate free of charge (except for the packaging, collection and transport costs that will be entirely the responsibility of the beneficiary). These goods – which include Lenovo laptops (equipped with battery charger) and office furniture fully functional and in a good condition – are listed below. 

The equipment received in donation is to be used by the beneficiary to support the carrying out of its activities and cannot be sold for financial gains. 

List and nature of the goods

Please refer to this list while providing the requested Typology in the donation application form: 


Laptops

  • Lenovo Thinkpad E14 High end standard model (IT keyboard) – 58 items 
  • Lenovo Thinkpad E14 High end standard model (BE keyboard) – 15 items
  • Lenovo Thinkpad E14 High end standard model (UK keyboard) – 21 items 
  • Lenovo Thinkpad E14 High end standard model (RU keyboard) – 4 items 

Cabinets

White mobile metal cabinets equipped with wheels for easy movement. The side closure consists of a plastic shutter with a key lock. Inside, there are two adjustable and removable shelves to accommodate different storage needs. The top is finished with white back-painted tempered glass - 18 items

Who can participate in this call?

Only organisations that meet the following requirements can participate: 

  • organisations having charitable, social, educational and/or social integration purposes;
  • non-profit organisations. 

What is the process for being selected? 

The organisations who meet the above-mentioned requisites will be ranked, based on the description of their needs and use of the selected items which they provide in the application form. 

Preference will be given to the organisations who ask for the highest number of items and are able to collect them in the shortest possible time.  

Should several organisations get the same rank, a draw will be held to guarantee maximum transparency. 

The organisations selected to receive the donated items (beneficiary) will be requested to sign a donation act with the ETF.

Interested organisations must complete the application form and send it via email to Fabio.Ricci@etf.europa.eu by 2 March 2026, 23:59 CEST.
