Meet our trainees

Working here has deepened my commitment to inclusion and youth empowerment through education, making this experience really enriching.

I am part of a team that gave me the chance to actively contribute while adapting tasks and projects to my interests.

When I applied, I was attracted by the ETF’s mission and way of working. Now, actually being here, I see it every day through the team's commitment. It is a truly inspiring environment..

This traineeship allowed me to build valuable skills while contributing to real projects in a collaborative and very supportive atmosphere.

From the start, I felt welcomed. Working in a multicultural team showed me how strongly collaboration and inclusion shape everyone’s daily work here.

Because is more than a traineeship

ETF trainees enjoy a six-month full-time traineeship (40 hours per week) at our premises in Turin, Italy. The traineeship can be renewed once, for a total duration of up to 12 months. If needed, a dedicated relocation company will provide initial guidance on life in Turin and Italy. For trainees from non-EU countries, the ETF relocation agency may assist with the residence permit application process, with all related costs covered by the ETF.
Key benefits include:

Professional development

We offer learning opportunities to help you grow, adapt, and align with the ETF’s mission. Each trainee works with a tutor for guidance and progress. Trainees also benefit from induction sessions, beginner Italian, and knowledge-sharing events for local integration.

Work-life balance

We value flexibility and wellbeing. Flexible working arrangements, teleworking options, and generous vacation entitlements are all part of the package, helping you maintain a healthy balance between professional growth and personal life.

Competitive allowance

Trainees receive a monthly allowance of €1,300, along with a travel contribution if their place of residence at the start of the traineeship is more than 200 km from the ETF. In addition, trainees with disabilities may be eligible for a supplementary grant of up to 50% of the standard allowance.

Health and wellbeing

At ETF, we care about the wellbeing of our trainees. You’ll have access to a fully equipped gym, a calming Zen room for relaxation, and a canteen offering a wide selection of snacks and meals to support your energy and focus throughout the day.
