Skills for Smart Specialisation in Montenegro - Sustainable Agriculture and Food Value Chain’ priority domain
This report analyses how global technological trends are reshaping Montenegro’s Sustainable Agriculture and Food Value Chain priority domain for smart specialisation and the impact on skills and occupations. It combines global patent analysis, technology-readiness assessment and ESCO-based mapping of emerging skills and occupational profiles – validated through stakeholder consultations on locally relevant technologies, with companies representing around 50% of participants. The recommendations identify the technology–skill combinations that offer the highest potential productivity gains and outline how education, training and workforce development systems can be mobilised to support their deployment.
