4 facts on youth and inclusion
- Only 3.7% of young people think that their countries support the inclusion of all people ‘very much’
- Almost two-thirds (61.2%) of young people have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or exclusion in school
- The most common reason for discrimination, harassment or exclusion was sexual orientation (23.6%), followed by disability (19.6%) and ethnic or religious background (18.0%)
- 67.1% of youngsters think that people in their countries have fewer opportunities because of their background, such as family income
