Boosting Apprenticeships: EAfA's Ninth Annual Seminar Sparks Collaboration in Tirana, Albania
On 17-18 October 2024, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) and the European Training Foundation (ETF), in collaboration with Albania's Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, held the ninth annual EAfA Seminar in Tirana, Albania. This event brought together key stakeholders, including government representatives, businesses, vocational education and training (VET) providers, social partners, and youth organizations from across the EU and its neighbouring countries.
The seminar focused on two important themes: apprentices' assessment and apprenticeships for adults. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss policy updates, and explore work-based learning practices firsthand through site visits to local schools and companies. This seminar continues to support the EAfA’s mission to enhance the quality, supply, and image of apprenticeships and promote mobility among apprentices across Europe and its neighbouring countries.
