DIGI ENE Initiative for digital excellence - Peer Learning visit, Madrid

The DIGI ENE Initiative for digital excellence is the follow up of the Digitalisation in education and the role of Centres of Excellence lunched in 2022 under the ETF NETWORK FOR EXCELLENCE .

The overall objective of the sub-initiative is to show how digital teaching and learning can efficiently increase students’ learning, presenting tools and methodologies, and supporting participating Centres of Excellence in integrating them in their working environment.

This Peer Learning Activity is addressed to a restricted group of 9 Centres of Excellence and public institutions from Serbia, Georgia, Egypt, Morocco, Türkiye, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed to continuing improving in digital teaching and learning and willing to engage in peer learning activities with other members of the thematic group.

 Objectives of the study visit:

  • provide full-immersion experience in the area of digital teaching and learning for Centres of Vocational Excellence (members of the initiative), 
  • support learning among peers,
  • inspire innovation at the level of Vocational Schools and Training Centres,
  • foster collective knowledge sharing (scale-up innovation), 
  • facilitate reflection on the individual needs and transfer of knowledge (adaptation of the new knowledge to the needs of the teacher/of the institution), 
  • provide member CoVEs with opportunities to collaborate with one another nationally and internationally, open up more opportunities for transnational partnerships and platforms for knowledge exchange.
