11th annual EAfA-ETF Seminar, Brussels, 9-10 December 2026

The seminar will bring together EAfA members and stakeholders from EU Member States and ETF partner countries to strengthen apprenticeship systems by sharing practical solutions, experiences and achievements in the field. 

What to expect

The annual EAfA-ETF Seminar will bring together stakeholders from government bodies, businesses, social partners, vocational education and training (VET) providers, youth associations and other relevant organisations from EU Member States and ETF partner countries that are EAfA members. The event is part of the European Skills & VET Week, an initiative of the European Commission organised by Cedefop. Since 2016, the Week has provided policymakers, stakeholders and social partners with a platform to share insights, showcase best practices, and support strategies for upskilling and reskilling the European workforce.

Over the course of the two-day event, participants will have the opportunity to: 

• discuss practical approaches to strengthening and improving the quality of work-based learning (WBL), including apprenticeships, and promote mutual learning across countries; 
• connect with EAfA members, organisations and other stakeholders through networking activities and parallel sessions; and 
• take part in one of three site visits in Belgium.
