As part of a multi-country initiative on digital education in the Western Balkans, the European Training Foundation (ETF) in partnership with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Bureau for Development of Education are organising an online event to disseminate and discuss the results of the study SELFIEforTEACHERS1 in secondary education in North Macedonia.
The study results aim to support the development of teachers' digital competence working in secondary education and contribute to evidence-based education policy development in North Macedonia.
The study results are based on the use of SELFIEforTEACHERS, an online, multilingual, self-reflection tool designed to help teachers in reflecting on their use of digital technologies in their professional practice. It supports individual teachers in the further development of their digital competence. It also supports education stakeholders at national level in designing professional development strategies and training for teachers, encompassing both initial teacher education and in-service training programs.
The online event will present key findings of the study in North Macedonia inviting relevant stakeholders, training providers, schools and teachers involved in the study.
The event has the following objectives:
- To present the key findings.
- Discuss way-forwards, from both EU and national perspective
The event will be in English and North Macedonian, with simultaneous interpretation.
