About

The Seminar will take place from 13-14 April 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The main objectives of the training are to improve the competencies of assessors to:

• Explain the purpose and principles of VNFIL (validation of non-formal and informal learning)

• Describe assessor tasks across the VNFIL process

• Identify and apply key assessor competences in VNFIL

• Use VNFIL reference points (standards, learning outcomes, criteria)

• Distinguish clearly between assessor and counsellor roles

Participants from the five countries of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) will include practitioners who will assess the competencies and skills of candidates for non-formal and informal learning validation (assessors) from the sectors and organizations involved in the DARYA validation pilot, as well as representatives from other sectors planning to implement validation mechanisms, and representatives of national bodies responsible for validation mechanisms at national level.
