About
The Regional Steering Group (RSG) meeting brings together representatives of the participating countries to review progress achieved and to discuss the draft Regional Skills Roadmap for continued regional cooperation on skills development in Central Asia.
Building on national discussions and consultations undertaken within the DARYA governance process, the meeting will focus on reviewing the proposed thematic areas, identifying a limited number of possible actions for further consultation, and providing preliminary guidance for refining the Regional Skills Roadmap before its consideration by the High-Level Group.
Objectives of the meeting:
- Review national and regional developments achieved since 2025 that are relevant to continued regional cooperation on skills development.
- Review the proposed thematic areas and possible actions included in the Regional Skills Roadmap and provide initial views on their relevance and feasibility.
- Build convergence around realistic, country-owned priorities for continued regional cooperation beyond DARYA, particularly in areas relevant to the Global Gateway priorities.
- Provide preliminary guidance on the thematic areas and possible actions to be further refined through post-RSG consultation before consideration by the High-Level Group.
