KIESE data 2024: Presentation of preliminary country and cross-country findings

In October and November of 2024, the European Training Foundation (ETF) is organising a series of meetings with key stakeholders to discuss the preliminary outcomes of its annual collection of evidence. The first of these meetings will focus on members of the KIESE data network, which plays a crucial role in gathering data from ETF partner countries.

Every year, through initiatives such as KIESE[1] and the Torino Process, comprehensive evidence is collected to monitor trends in education, skills, and employment across ETF partner countries. These efforts culminate in the annual release of a cross-country report which, based on the collected data, offers key insights into national, regional, and international developments. The 2023 edition of the report can be accessed here.

The 2024 evidence collection has now been completed. As part of the broader series of discussions with key stakeholders involved in the annual data collection, this meeting will provide members of the KIESE data network, who are instrumental in the process, with a preview of findings ahead of their public release in November 2024.

In addition to presenting the preliminary results, the meeting will serve as a forum for reflecting on the data collection process and discussing the next steps for 2025. This also includes plans for the next face-to-face meeting of the KIESE data network.

The working language of the meeting will be English, with interpretation available in Arabic and Russian.
