Celebrating global innovation in green and sustainable skills

Launched in 2021 by the European Training Foundation (ETF), the Green Skills Award recognises real-world solutions that empower individuals and communities to drive sustainable change. From cutting-edge digital tools to community-based training programmes, these initiatives are proof that climate action starts with education.

The 2025 Green Skills Award Final showcased five incredible projects that are redefining the future of green skills development, sustainability education and climate action through training. These inspiring finalists are leading by example in building inclusive, circular and carbon-neutral economies by putting environmental skills at the heart of learning and work.

The winners of the 2025 Green Skills Award were selected through a combination of international jury assessment and public voting.
