
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Since 1997 the ETF has been supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina to develop education and training to boost employability, increase access to opportunity and promote social cohesion.
The ETF cooperates with and complements the work of the European Commission and the European External Action Service in its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina which includes input to EU policy monitoring mechanisms, including the Economic Reform Programme, assessment of progress on the Small Business Act for Europe and wider human capital developments reported in the Torino Process.
Supporting the national authorities, the ETF also offers expertise on Bosnia and Herzegovina's referencing report to the European Qualifications Framework, as well as input to activities promoting the accreditation of non-formal learning.
The ETF cooperates with the Employment Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the offices for employment at ‘entity’ level, and at state level on other policy and legislative issues, such as entrepreneurial learning and the entrepreneurship key competence.
