As part of a multi-country initiative on digital education in the Western Balkans, the European Training Foundation (ETF) in partnership with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation of Albania, and the National Agency for Vocational Education, Training and Qualifications are organising an online event to disseminate and discuss the results of the study SELFIEforTEACHERS in Secondary Vocational Education in Albania.
The study results aim to support the development of teachers' digital competence working in VET secondary education and contribute to evidence-based education policy development in Albania.
The study results are based on the use of SELFIEforTEACHERS, an online, multilingual, self-reflection tool designed to help teachers in reflecting on their use of digital technologies in their professional practice. It supports individual teachers in the further development of their digital competence. It also supports education stakeholders at national level in designing professional development strategies and training for teachers, encompassing both initial teacher education and in-service training programs.
The online event will present key findings of the study in Albania inviting relevant stakeholders, training providers, schools and teachers involved in the study.
The event has the following objectives:
- To present the key findings.
- Discuss way-forwards, from both EU and national perspective
The event will take place in English and Albanian, with simultaneous interpretation.
