Qualifications

DARYA thematic module 2 will contribute to responding to the needs of the countries of Central Asia for relevant skills and qualifications that allow people to realise their personal and professional aspirations, and economic sectors to develop skills potential. Qualifications systems reforms are central to vocational education systems worldwide. They are essential in translating labour market needs into learning provision and assessment. Under Thematic Module 2, the project will cover the key dimensions of the qualifications system reform: learning outcomes based qualifications, validation and recognition of all types of learning, stakeholder engagement mechanisms and institutional arrangements. It will also explore the existing evidence, vision and scenarios for structured regional cooperation in the area of qualifications in Central Asia. Thematic module 2 will cover peer-learning between countries of Central Asia and with European Union countries, capacity development and piloting activities.
