Regional event on CVT in Eastern Europe
Wprn: WP12-20
The regional event on Continuing Vocational Training (CVT) in Eastern Europe will be organised in Tallinn, Estonia on 13-15 June 2012.
There will be the opportunity to learn from the significant progress in CVT through meetings with Estonian social partners, training institutions and Government, and to reflect on the main themes that appeared to be of common concern, as result of the seven peer visits during the last 12 months, namely:
- Social partnership and dialogue on skills and skills’ development at national as well as local level
- Quality of the CVT provision, learning methodologies, recognition of non-formal and informal learning
- Funding mechanisms to increase the access to CVT, with special attention to SMEs
- National strategies, policy and legal frameworks for CVT
- Information, orientation and guidance
- Data collection for monitoring CVT.
The country delegations will present:
- how have they disseminated the outcomes of the peer learning, whom have they involved to discuss these and/or other themes as appropriate;
- how do they intend to organise one new activity in their respective country during July 2012 - October 2013, in order to achieve one tangible result within one of the mentioned priority themes.
