Focus group meeting with social partners

ETF together with the country stakeholders will implement focus groups events in the framework of the initiative on school development towards life long learning. The focus groups aimed at policy makers and social partners are meant to achieve the following objectives:
- Discuss and decide on a common language and vision of school development toward life-long learning based on country/ETF experience and life-long learning idea
- Identify stakeholders vision and needs as regard to school development and identify stakeholder focus
- Identify key issue related to schools and specific interest of stakeholders to accommodate in the upcoming school survey
Focus groups will be run in interactive manner and ETF together with local counterparts will act as facilitator of knowledge sharing and knowledge building.
The results of the meetings and the discussion among participants will contribute to validate the approach and activities ETF will roll out between 2009 and 2011 and to create a key network for country ownership and implementation of the activities with specific country focus, while taking stock of regional synergies and common challenges.
