ETF Governing Board adopts report on 2009 activities

The comprehensive report on ETF activities in 2009 was unanimously approved by the ETF Governing Board at its meeting on 14 June. The new Chair of the ETF Governing Board, Jan Truszczyński, Director General of European Commission's DG Education and Culture, and the members welcomed the report and agreed that it should be forwarded to the other EU Institutions for approval. The meeting also saw the launch of the discussions on the ETF’s Work Program for 2011. The members of the Governing Board, representatives from ETF partner countries and other stakeholders will be involved in the consultation process that is expected to come to an end with the approval of the document at the Board’s next meeting on 24 November.
The Board also adopted the ETF’s financial statements and other budgetary related issues.
