Working together: education and business. ETF launches mapping study

“Capturing the current state of affairs and then putting it all together,” ETF Director Madlen Serban summarised the aim of the study which will zoom in on the interface between the worlds of work and education in all ETF partner countries, drawing up national, regional and overall analyses and looking at how European expertise can be used for the benefit of partner countries.
“We’re very grateful that the ETF has incorporated this into its Work Programme,” said Elena Pascual Jiménez of DG Education and Culture, assuring those present that the topic is a “big priority” for the Commission and that it would aim to incorporate results in its 2011 university-business forum.
The study results are expected to be made public in early 2011.
